Summer Wedding at the Madera Estates

Aixa + Daniel

I had the pleasure of documenting this summer wedding at the Madera Estates, located in Conroe, Tx, on July of 2023. This wedding was beautiful and the venue has become one of my top favorites to work at. From the beautiful architecture to the Mexican inspired decor, this wedding was definitely one for the books.

The Location of the Madera Estates

Let’s start with the stunning Madera Estates wedding venue!

The Madera Estates is located at 3201 N Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77303.

The moment you step onto the grounds of Madera Estates, you feel like you’re at a destination wedding. The venue has a charm that sets the perfect backdrop for your special day. From the rustic charm of the outdoor ceremony spaces to the elegant interiors of the reception room, every corner of this venue is filled with beauty.

If you’re dreaming of a fairytale summer wedding surrounded by nature, Madera Estates is the place to be! It felt so much like an “hacienda” to me. Perfect for all the Mexican inspired theme.

Summer Wedding Attire

Now let’s talk about the outfits Aixa and Dananiel wore for their big day!

First up, Aixa’s attire! She looked beyond beautiful in her aunt’s wedding dress, which was totally special and sentimental. They altered it just for her, and it was perfect for her to wear during the cocktail hours! Then, she changed into her wedding dress, and let me tell you, it was straight out of a fairy tale. It had the most beautiful lace details that made her look like a real-life princess. And can we talk about the Daniel’s suit? It was the perfect match for her dress! Together, they looked like a million bucks. Plus, their outfits totally complemented the gorgeous architecture of the venue, making for some seriously stunning photos

First Look

Furthermore, I captured the cutest first look at this wedding.

Aixa and Daniel decided to read each other’s vows before doing their first look. How adorable is that? Instead of seeing each other right away, they took a moment to share heartfelt promises with each other. It was such a sweet and emotional moment, and I was so honored to capture it on camera.

After they finished reading their vows, they finally got to see each other for the first time! And let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! It was a magical moment that I’ll never forget.

Portraits

Afterwards, we took advantage of the time to take some fun “bride and groom” portraits. Aixa and Daniel had this awesome vintage red truck that we used as a prop for their photos – which is perfect for a summer wedding at the Madera Estates. It was seriously the coolest thing ever and added such a unique touch to their photos!

And let me tell you about the nature around us – the wedding venue is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. We had such a blast exploring the grounds and capturing some seriously stunning shots.

Cocktail Hour

There was a beer donkey! Yep, you heard me right – a donkey walking around with beers for everyone to enjoy. It definitely got everyone in the party mood!

But that’s not all – there were also so many special family moments captured during this time.

From family and friends sharing stories to siblings laughing and joking around, it was a heartwarming sight to see. As a photographer, it was so special capturing all these joyful moments, and I couldn’t help but smile along with everyone else. Here’s to unforgettable cocktail hours and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Folklorico Dancers

And you can’t have a Mexican theme wedding without some Folklorico Dancers during dinner time! It was seriously so amazing.

These dancers came out and put on the most incredible show, with colorful traditional outfits and lively music that got everyone clapping and cheering along. It was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate the special day.

Pan Dulce Instead of Cake + Mexican Candy

What’s better than cake? Pan dulce!

You can’t have a Mexican inspired wedding with out the pan dulce and the chamoy fountain. Aixa and Daniel decided to incorporate pan dulce as their dessert. It was so unique and perfect to tie in everything together with the theme.

Ceremony

And is it really a wedding without some unexpected twists and turns?

So, here’s the deal: originally, the plan was to have the ceremony outside, but there was a little turn of events! But you know what? We didn’t let a minor trouble ruin Aixa and Daniel’s ceremony. Instead, we got creative and moved the ceremony inside to the bridal suite. The awesome coordinator, MaryGrace, worked her magic and had the bridal suite looking beautiful for an intimate ceremony. It was a bit cozy with just immediate family there due to limited space but it was a lot more special. With soft lighting and love filling the air, it felt like something out of a fairy tale.

Sometimes, the unexpected moments end up being the most magical ones, and this was definitely one of them.

Dance Floor

Toward the end of the night, it was time for some cool dance moves. The dance floor was lit up with energy and excitement as guests busted out their best moves. From funky spins to silly twirls, there was no shortage of fun on the dance floor! As a photographer, it was so much fun capturing all the laughter and joy as everyone danced the night away. I always love capturing so many personalities on the dance floor and making sure the newlyweds have fun photos of guests to look back at.

The Fireworks

Now, let’s talk about ending the night with a bang! Literally! After the newlyweds said “I do,” the sky lit up with the most beautiful fireworks display. It was like something out of a fairy tale, with bursts of color and sparkle lighting up the night sky. The happy couple looked in awe as they celebrated their love surrounded by family and friends. It was a magical moment that I’ll never forget.

Final Exit

And finally…. the heartwarming final exit of this summer wedding at the Madera Estates. As the night came to a close, Aixa and Daniel made their way through the crowd, saying their final goodbyes to their loved ones. It was such a touching moment, seeing them surrounded by their family and friends, all wishing them well on their new journey together. With smiles on their faces and love in their hearts, they walked hand in hand, ready to begin their happily ever after. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
